The process of sway bar kit replacement requires wheel removal and sub-assembly removal of the hood followed by engine suspension before beginning the work. The front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH can be separated using Special Service Tool: 09628-00011 while the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 RH requires the same method for separation. The first step requires the removal of four bolts and two bushings from the front sway bar bracket No.1 LH and RH so the dealer can extract the sway bar kit. Position the new front sway bar kit with both bushings and brackets then fasten it with 4 bolts which require a torque of 37 Nm (375 kgf-cm, 27 ft. lbs.) while installing the bushings with their slit toward the vehicle's rear side and placed outside each paint line. The order of installation includes front suspension crossmember sub-assembly followed by pressure feed tube assembly, power steering link assembly and front sway bar kit installation before connecting the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH and RH units that are both similar on each side. The installation ends with front wheel tightment at 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.). Post-torque, reinstall the hood sub-assembly then inspect and readjust the hood while conducting front wheel alignment checks.

The replacement of the front sway bar kit requires disassembling the front wheels along with the hood sub-assembly followed by suspension of the engine assembly. The procedure starts with separating the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH through Special Service Tool: 09628-00011 followed by identical procedures for separating the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 RH. The front sway bar kit removal begins with disconnecting the front sway bar kit and power steering link assembly and pressure feed tube assembly and front suspension crossmember sub-assembly before removing the sway bar kit through the front sway bar bracket No.1 LH and RH bolt and bushing extraction. Install the sway bar kit together with both brackets and bushings by using 4 bolts and torque them to 37 Nm (375 kgf-cm, 27 ft. lbs.). The bushings must have their slit facing the rear of the vehicle and position outside each paint line. First connect the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with the pressure feed tube assembly and power steering link assembly and the front sway bar kit before installing the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH and No.1 RH pieces. These steps apply the same procedure for both sides. The last stage involves tightening front wheels to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.), reattaching the hood sub-assembly, conducting hood sub-assembly inspections and adjustments and performing an alignment check on the front wheels.

Begin by removing the front wheel and disconnecting the hood sub-assembly.
