A glass printed antenna repair process begins with cleansing the fractured wire ends through application of grease and wax and silicone remover. Before restoration begin by putting masking tape on both sides of the wire that needs repair. Apply Dupont paste No. 4817 to micro thin brush hairs then brush the wire with a small amount of agent. You should gently remove the masking tape after several moments have passed.

The inspection of glass printed antenna should involve cleaning with a soft dry cloth that moves along the wire path while keeping wires intact but using only gentle touch and avoiding all detergents and abrasive glass cleaners. You should wrap a finger around the aluminum-foil covered tester stick tip to perform this procedure; check for continuity by sliding the stick along the antenna length. The matching module exists as an integral part of the glass printed antenna bus bar positioned at the main terminal end of CAMRY SOLARA thus preventing terminal-antenna electrical connection. When testing the main antenna side of CAMRY SOLARA for continuity put one probe next to the bus bar while using the second probe to inspect the length of the antenna. To carry out repairs begins with cleaning broken wire tips followed by application of masking tape on both wire sides before using a mixture of grease, wax and silicone remover. The repair agent (Dupont paste No. 4817) needs thorough mixing before obtaining a small amount through a thin brush tip. Take off the tape after waiting for several minutes.
