How to service the Dome Light on Toyota Yaris?

Services on the dome lamp start with disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. The user can remove the room light assembly with a wrapped screwdriver to disengage the 4 claws and remove the room light lens followed by disengaging the 4 claws to remove the 2 covers. Service begins by disconnecting automotive power while first removing the room light claw with 4 claws and roof wire before using 4 claws to remove the room light switch base. Complete installation by taking room light bulb No. 1 off. Begin by installing room light bulb No. 1 before using the 4 claws to place both the room light switch base and roof wire inside the room light claw. Begin by putting the room light switch base and roof wire into the claw of the room light through the four engaging elements. Then mount the room light and set it with the two covers and room light lens. The cable needs reattachment at the negative battery terminal with application of torque at 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf).
