The installation of the right-hand side front lower suspension arm starts by mounting the lower arm to the crossmember with a bolt that should be tightened loosely. The vehicle requires installation of the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly as the next step followed by front stabilizer link assembly on both the left and right sides with the left and right installation instances remaining the same. Follow the procedure for the left side front lower suspension arm installation and duplicate the process for the right side. The installation of tie rod end sub-assemblies should proceed for both left and right sides through the same step-by-step process. The installation sequence follows the steering column hole cover sub-assembly after which the steering sliding yoke sub-assembly and the column hole cover silencer sheet need to be added. Lower the vehicle from the jack position the wheels straight ahead and stabilize the suspension through multiple body bounces then tighten the front wheel to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf). Secure the right-hand front lower suspension arm by tightening both bolts to Bolt A (137 Nm) and Bolt B (160 Nm) according to specifications. The installation order includes the outer cowl top panel together with the cowl to register duct sub-assembly for the hatchback and the front air shutter seal for the sedan. Before moving forward with installation, mount the front
Wiper Motor with link components while adding the cowl top ventilator louver to the left side of the hatchback and the sub-assembly which suits hatchback as well as sedan models. Permanent installation involves the hood to cowl top seal for hatchback and both left and right side cowl side ventilators for sedan and front wiper arms and blades together with their respective head caps for each side. Before installation connect the cable to the negative battery terminal with 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque then proceed with inspecting and adjusting the hood for the hatchback and sedan finally performing front wheel alignment check.
