You must use Denso No. 50 grease for the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly before installing the front wiper motor. A "Torx" socket wrench (T30) will securely fasten the windshield wiper motor assembly through 2 screws tightened to 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). Afterward, the 2 rods can be attached to the crank arm pivot. After sliding the wiper motor assembly towards the driver seat while its rubber pin connects to the body you can install the windshield wiper link assembly using 2 bolts which require torque to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) before connecting the connector. You should install the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly by connecting both 15 claws and 2 clips. The front fender requires installation on the front edge of cowl side seal LH after following the same procedure on its counterpart RH side and securing it with two open hooks. The installation of the front wiper arm RH requires metal powder removal from the serration part with a round file then wiper pivot serration cleaning with a wire brush followed by wiper operation and windshield wiper motor stopping at automatic stop. Finally, install the front wiper arm RH with the nut while torquing it to 21 Nm (209 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf) and using hand pressure to secure the nut to the arm hinge. First clean front wiper arm LH and afterward install the nut with a torque of 21 Nm (209 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf). The installation requires checking for blade interference with the pillar during water or washer fluid use. After installing the 2 front wiper arm head caps you should connect the cable to the negative battery terminal while tightening it to 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf) then activate the claw mechanism.
