The first step to remove the front wiper motor requires cable disconnection from the negative battery terminal. Begin by protecting the 2 front wiper arm head caps with taped screwdriver removal and stop the windshield wiper motor assembly at its automatic position using wiper operations before extracting the nut and front wiper arm LH. Follow the same process with the front wiper arm RH. The wiper arm remover procedure must be done again for the right side front wiper arm. Each front fender to cowl side seal needs its side-claw disconnection before removal while performing the same steps on the front fender to cowl side seal RH. You must first separate the 2 clips along with the 15 claws to release the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly. The windshield wiper motor assembly can be extracted by disconnecting its connector and removing the two bolts while the motor and link slide to the passenger seat area. Remove the assembly after dismantling the rubber pin meshing. To conclude this step use a screwdriver covered in tape before releasing the meshing between the 2 rods at the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly followed by using a 'Torx" socket wrench (T30) to remove the 2 screws and the windshield wiper motor assembly.

The battery cable requires removal from its position on the negative terminal to proceed with front wiper motor removal. With a screwdriver taped for protection you can remove the two front wiper arm head caps. Then operate the wiper unit until it stops at automatic position before you take out the nut and front wiper arm LH. Follow this by repeating the procedure for the front wiper arm RH. The identical wiper arm procedure should then be applied to the front wiper arm RH. Use a screwdriver and protective tape to disengage the two claws from the front fender to cowl side seals of the LH and RH sides. The procedure to remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly involves separating the 2 clips along with 15 claws. Disconnect the connector then remove 2 bolts which detach the windshield wiper motor and link assembly. The wiper link assembly should slide to the right of the passenger seat while also breaking the rubber pin's connection point. A screwdriver with protective tape wrapping should be used to detach the meshing of two rods connecting the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly followed by removal of two screws with a "Torx" socket wrench (T30) to extract the wiper motor assembly.

Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal, torqued to 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf), and engage the claw to install the 2 front wiper arm head caps.

Engage the claws.

Install the link assembly with 2 bolts, torqued to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf), before connecting the connector.

7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf).

Disengage the 2 claws to remove it, and perform the same for the RH side.
