After installing the front spoiler cover center (X-Runner type) you must place the front bumper extension LH using 5 retainers for Pre Runner and 4WD or 4 retainers for X-Runner and repeat the installation process for the RH side. Place the front spoiler cover RH (X-Runner type) with required retainers while using one clip before repeating the process for the front spoiler cover LH (X-Runner type) with its specified combination of retainers and clips. Complete the front bumper installation by inserting 6 clips ensuring proper claw engagement, attaching 2 fog lamp connectors when present, then fixing 9 clips, securing six screws, placing the radiator grille back with two clips along with two screws and reconnecting the negative battery terminal cable while torquing the terminal to 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in. lbf).
