You should start transmission control cable assembly installation for the A750E automatic transmission/transaxle by putting the floor shift transmission control cable in from the vehicle interior while using 2 bolts to retain the cable which requires 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) torque. The cable outer needs attachment to the shift lever retainer with a new clip before installation. Secure the shift lever control cable end by making sure the inner cable remains untwisted and directing the ridged cable end upward. Use the N setting and stop the shaft lever from rotating counterclockwise and continue turning it clockwise for 2 notches before securing a new clip and nut for the cable which must face the inside of the vehicle. Then add a nut to the transmission control cable support and tighten it to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). After installing the front console box you must inspect the shift lever position then adjust it according to need.
