Service starts with releasing the clutch line from the release cylinder by removing its 2 bolts along with the release cylinder heat insulator. Use the two bolts to remove the release cylinder from the system. The disassembly process begins by pulling out the boot that contains the push rod followed by extracting the boot from the push rod and using compressed air to remove the piston with spring from the cylinder while using a waste cloth to hold the piston to prevent jumping out and to avoid brake fluid splashing. Reassembly requires application of lithium soap base glycol grease on the piston followed by insertion of both the piston and spring inside the cylinder until the boot and push rod can be installed by connecting the push rod to the boot before installing the boot with the push rod to the cylinder.
