How to remove the Trunk Lid Latch on Toyota Land Cruiser?

The trunk/liftgate lock removal begins with the removal of center back door garnish then back door side garnish on the left-hand side and the right-hand side. The sequencre begins with taking off the back door garnish. The 4 claws need removal to free the back door lock cover. You can finish the uninstallation procedure of the door lock by first detaching the connector from the back door lock assembly and then removing the 3 bolts fastening it to the assembly.
