    The installation of 1GR-FE fuel injectors begins with installing new insulators followed by applying spindle oil or gasoline to fresh O-rings before their placement on each injector. You should link the injector by turning it left and right until it secures to the delivery pipe with its connector oriented toward the outside. Place the fuel delivery pipe with its 6 injectors on the intake manifold while provisionally installing the 6 bolts to maintain position. Check that injectors move freely before swapping the O-ring. Connect the six injector connectors after tightening all bolts to 15 Nm of torque (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf). The No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly installation begins by inserting the tube connector into the pipe until it clicks while conducting damage and foreign object checks before installing the fuel pipe clamp. The same procedure needs to be performed for the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly. Screw in the 4 bolts of the intake air surge tank with Socket Hexagon Wrench 8 while tightening them to a specified torque of 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf) then fasten the 2 nuts at the same torque setting.
