On the hood, loosen the throttle linkage, follow the current route through the firewall and loosen any plastic clips or rubber grommets. Install the new cable the same way, taking due gradual curves to prevent bending the cable, and then crimp grommets and clips tight to ensure that the line will not slide. Install both ends again, adjust the free play until the pedal moves freely, ensure that the throttle moves fully by hand, and then begin the engine and ensure sharp action without binding, and the Accelerator Cable is working properly.
