2010 Toyota Camry Exhaust Pipe Parts Q&A
Q: How to install the exhaust pipe on 2010 Toyota Camry?
A: The first step to install the 2AZ-FXE engine's exhaust pipe starts with placing the rear exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket which requires 2 bolts torqued to 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf) and must be correctly oriented. The front exhaust pipe assembly needs a fresh gasket which should be fastened by 2 nuts torqued to 62 Nm (632 kgf-cm, 46 ft-lbf). Affix the front exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket with 2 nuts while tightening them to 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf). The next step should include installation of the heated oxygen sensor. To install the center exhaust pipe assembly personnel should place a new gasket on the front exhaust pipe and fasten it with 2 bolts plus 2 nuts that require 56 Nm (571 kgf-cm, 41 ft-lbf) torque. Apply the center exhaust pipe assembly with a new gasket before securing the tail pipe assembly through 2 nuts which reach a torque level of 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf). The last step includes inspecting exhaust gas leaks followed by tightening all needed areas to stop leaks while exchanging any compromised parts as required.
