• Q: How to install windshield glass on 2010 Scion tC?

  A: Apply Primer G to each part of the No. 2 windshield glass stoppers then install 2 new stoppers on the glass surface before proceeding. Second put on two new No. 1 stoppers to the vehicle body parts. Place Primer G onto the glass area around adhesive dams until it dries for 3 minutes. Open the damp then place the adhesive part of the dam on the glass surface keeping away from the spacer area A. Apply suction cups under the glass while making sure it touches flatly. Mark where the glass and vehicle meet. Inspect the glass matchmarks if you decide to reuse existing glass parts. Press Primer M onto the vehicle body section that will show and let it dry for 3 minutes before applying Primer G onto the glass surface which must also drain. Use the designated adhesive (Part No. 08850-00801 or equivalent) to apply it on the glass surface after slicing the cartridge tip. Then place the glass onto the vehicle and align the matchmarks before gently pressing it along the rim. Lock the glass in place by putting protective tape before the adhesive sets. Before adhesive hardening use Primer G on the contact surface to bond windshield moulding properly. After you finish installing the glass check for leaks using an air pump and apply automotive sealer to Fix the leaks afterward hook up the car battery and let the vehicle perform system updates as needed.
