You should begin by removing the engine coolant then take away the fan and generator V belt followed by draining the engine coolant. The generator assembly should be extracted after drainage while separating the No. 2 radiator hose followed by removing the water inlet by removing its 2 nuts. The gasket with the thermostat must be removed at the last step of the procedure.
