The first step for removing the 3UR-FE engine throttle body requires the removal of both the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH followed by the front fender splash shield sub-assembly RH. Start by detaching the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly before draining engine coolant from the machine. The procedure starts by taking off the V-bank cover sub-assembly and then continuing with removal of the air cleaner hose assembly. The procedure ends with disconnecting the throttle position sensor along with the control motor connector and 2 water by-pass hoses before removing the 4 bolts from the throttle body and its gasket and finally detaching the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.
