The procedure to remove the throttle body from the 3UR-FE engine requires removal of the front fender splash shields LH and RH followed by No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly and subsequent drainage of engine coolant. Start the procedure by taking off the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly before draining the engine coolant. The V-bank cover sub-assembly along with the air cleaner hose assembly must be removed in this step. The removal process begins by disconnecting the 2 water by-pass hoses along with the throttle position sensor and control motor connector before proceeding to take out 4 bolts securing the throttle body and gasket then 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.
