2009 Toyota Land Cruiser Seat Heater Parts Q&A
Q: How to install a Seat Heater for the front seatback assembly on the LH side on 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: The LH side front seatback heater assembly requires installation by placing the seatback heater at the proper position with name stamp facing forward while using new tack pins to fix it in place. Start installation of the front separate type seatback cover and then put on the seatback cover with pad onto the seatback frame. Remember to attach the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with a nut torqued to 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf). The first step is to check for untwisted Air Bag strap positioning before attaching nine hooks which require installation through the seat frame using hog ring pliers to install new hog rings. Secure the seat heater connector by affixing its 2 clamps in place. After hooking up the front seat headrest support continue by adding the front seatback board sub-assembly LH, front inner seat cushion shield LH and front seat inner belt assembly LH. Complete the front seat assembly LH installation by threading in the front seat cushion shield LH before fixing the reclining power seat switch knob and vertical power seat switch knob.
