You should remove both the fuel suction tube assembly with pump and sensor. To disconnect the fuel level sensor connector you must do it carefully so the wire harness stays undamaged. Free the lock mechanism to unlock the fuel level sensor assembly which you should slowly slide out while preventing any damage to the tip of the fuel level sensor arm.
