Afterward remove the hood to cowl top seal and the cowl top ventilator louver on the left. The first step should involve removing the windshield wiper motor and link before unbolt the 7 hardware from the outer cowl top panel sub-assembly. The technician begins by unbolted the lower cowl body mounting bracket on the left side and then removes the No. 1 cowl water extract hose through unharnessing the clip. The next step involves taking off the air cleaner cap sub-assembly before using Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 to remove the brake master cylinder sub-assembly through the process of disconnecting 2 brake tubes on each device.
