How to install the fan and generator Drive Belt on 2008 Toyota Sequoia?

Begin the installation of the 2UZ-FE engine fan and generator V belt by placing it onto all components except the No. 2 idler pulley. Use a clockwise turn on the tensioner to loosen the V belt while you guide the belt onto position on the No.2 idler pulley. Check the newly installed belt fit in the pulley grooves before confirming by hand that the belt is still seated in these points along the bottom of the pulley. Check for the arrow position on the belt tensioner to remain within area "A"; if it lays outside this range replace both the fan and generator V belt. The correct belt installation is confirmed by placing the arrow within area "B" during new belt installation. First install the air cleaner hose assembly after which you should mount the throttle body cover sub-assembly and end with the No. 1 engine under cover.
