To remove the air conditioning compressor and pulley for the 2AZ-FE engine, discharge the refrigerant, disconnect the negative battery terminal, and wait 90 seconds. Remove the No. 1 cooler refrigerant hoses, engine under cover, and fan and generator V belt. Finally, disconnect the compressor assembly and remove it.
