The process of disassembling the rear console box begins with removing the No. 4 instrument panel wire before moving on to extracting the rear power point socket assembly together with its cover. The rear console compartment door sub-assembly should be replaced independently from the console box so it can be taken out next. Opening the console compartment door before unscrewing the 4 screws helps prevent the hinge spring from ejecting the screws from their positions.
