Install the stop light switch by placing it into the adjuster until it stands just above the brake pedal while not pressing it then complete the installation with a quarter turn clockwise and apply 1.5 Nm (15 kgf-cm, 13 in-lbf) of torque. After mounting the stop light switch verify its position because it should exist between 0.5 to 2.6 mm (0.020 to 0.102 in.). The stop light switch connector needs to be connected to its corresponding switch. Clients should attach the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying torque at 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf).
