Installation of fan and generator V belt To fit the fan and generator V belt in the 2UZ-FE engine, place the V belt on all parts except the No. 2 idler pulley. Unscrew the tensioner by turning in a counterclockwise direction then slip the belt to the No. 2 idler pulley with the mark falling in the B range.
