  A: Starting the throttle body installation on the 2AZ-FE engine control system requires application of a new gasket on the intake manifold. Apply four bolts through the throttle body and fuel pipe clamp and torque them to 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 in-lbf). First install the fuel tube in the clamp then mount the wire harness clamp before joining the throttle position sensor and control motor connector. Position the No. 1 throttle body hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose onto the throttle body while ensuring the marked locations of the hose clamp sit at the right angle it needs to be.
