  A: The first step to remove the throttle body from the 2AZ-FE engine control system requires draining all engine coolant. You should disconnect the negative battery cable while waiting for at least 90 seconds to stop the operation of Air Bags and seat belt pretensioners. Before continuing start by unscrewing the 2 nuts holding the engine cover. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and the purge VSV connector along with the wire harness clamp before you disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover, purge VSV line hose from the purge VSV, and purge line hose from the throttle body. Start by locking the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp before detaching the No. 1 air cleaner hose from the throttle body. After that, unfasten the 2 hook clamps for air cleaner cap removal and extract the air cleaner filter element from the air cleaner case. The throttle body removal process begins with unhooking the water by-pass hose together with the No. 2 water by-pass hose and the No. 1 throttle body hose from the throttle body. First disconnect the throttle position sensor and control motor connector and remove the wire harness clamp before taking out the fuel tube from the clamp.
