2007 Toyota Land Cruiser Mass Air Flow Sensor Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: Before working on the Mass Air Flow Sensor the first step requires disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal followed by a minimum waiting period of 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Begin by separating the Mass Air Flow Sensor through MAF sensor connector removal and unfastening the two screws securing it. Use 2 screws to fix the MAF sensor while connecting the MAF sensor connector as well. After the cable reconnection to the negative battery terminal you must execute initialization because some systems require a setup process after battery cable disconnection.
