2006 Toyota Tundra Clutch Master Cylinder Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the Clutch Master Cylinder on 2006 Toyota Tundra?
A: Tekonic System 4701 lets you start Clutch Master Cylinder repairs by taking out the filler cap and float from the reservoir before you extract brake fluid with a syringe under condition that no brake fluid contacts painted surfaces. Any contact should be removed immediately. Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 enables the dismantling of the clutch line from the master cylinder to obtain fluid which should be stored in a container. Use needle-nose pliers to extract the clip. After that remove the clevis pin and wave washer. Remove the two mounting nuts followed by taking out the master cylinder through pulling it out from its position keeping the gasket removed.
