How to service the rear side marker light assembly on 2006 Scion xB?

In order to maintain the rear side marker light assembly, unplug the negative battery terminal. Wipe off the back bumper side seals and cover, and then wipe off the LH side marker light assembly. Install it again, clamp it with a nut and reattach the connector. Lastly, re- attach the bumper and reconnect the battery.
