The rear side marker light assembly needs installation on the LH side first by attaching the nut then connecting the connector. The next step requires installing the rear bumper cover while you should also mount the rear bumper side seal on both the LH and RH sides. Follow the procedure by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.

    The first step to replace the REAR SIDE MARKER LAMP ASSY LH requires removal of both REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH and REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH followed by removal of REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH and REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH. First remove the REAR BUMPER PIECE LH followed by the REAR BUMPER PIECE RH and then detach the REAR BUMPER COVER. You must disconnect the connector before untightening the nut to extract the rear side marker lamp assy LH. File the final step by installing the REAR BUMPER COVER and putting on the REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH and finally the REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH.
