In order to service a back door courtesy switch, looseness the negative battery cable and wait 90 seconds. Take away the back door lock assembly, trim board and side garnishes LH and RH and center garnish. To install, remove, and install lock, trim, garnishes, reconnect the battery and system starting (where needed).
