  A: Before replacing the Charcoal Canister Assembly you need to remove fuel system pressure. Disassemble Rear Floor Board No.2, Deck Floor Box Rear, and Rear Floor Board No.3. Begin by disconnecting Engine Wire No.3 (Battery Negative Terminal) while also removing the Rear Seat Cushion Assembly together with the Rear Floor Service Hole Cover and Floor Panel Brace Front. The Charcoal Canister Assembly requires removal after taking out the Exhaust Pipe Assembly Front and Fuel Tank Assembly. Detach the VSV connector while removing both clamps then unfasten the charcoal canister hoses from the fuel tank retainer and fuel tank to canister tube. The repair begins by disconnecting the charcoal canister outlet hose No. 1 from the fuel tank and then taking out the charcoal canister by removing its bolt and two nuts. The new Charcoal Canister Assembly requires 6.0 Nm (61 kgf.cm, 53 in.lbf) torque before installation of Fuel Tank Assembly and Exhaust Pipe Assembly Front. Inspect the fuel system and exhaust pathway after reconnecting the Engine Wire No.3 to the battery negative terminal.
