Start by removing the engine under cover right side to access replacing the thermostat. Unbolt the fan and generator V belt first then carry out the generator assembly removal afterward replacing the water inlet requires taking off 2 nuts. Change the thermostat by adding a new unit with gasket installation and make sure to position the jiggle valve upward at any point between 10 degrees of each outlined position. Replace the water inlet piece with a new one and attach it using 11 Nm torque (112 kgf-cm, 8 foot pounds) before fitting back the generator unit. Place coolant into the engine before inspecting for liquid leaks.
