How to replace the thermostat on 2005 Toyota Corolla?

In order to change the thermostat (1ZZ-FE), pour the coolant out, remove the engine cover, fan, generator belt, and the generator assembly. remove the thermostat and the water inlet. Install the new thermostat and use a gasket making the jiggle valve facing up. Install components, torque 11 Nm, and leak test.
