  A: The service and repair procedure for the Throttle Body (1ZE-FE) begins with draining engine coolant first. First disconnect the accelerator cable before you detach the No. 2 cylinder head cover. The MAF meter installation requires disconnecting two air hoses from the air cleaner cap followed by loose clamp bolt disconnection and connector and clip removal of the VSV for EVAP and mass air flow meter. Detach the air cleaner hose from the throttle body before removing the air cleaner cap together with the hose. When removing the throttle body disconnect the throttle position sensor connector as well as the IAC valve connector and the PCV hose from the throttle body. The disconnection of the No. 2 water bypass pipe requires removing its two bolts and unclipping the two water bypass hoses. The throttle body can be separated from the intake manifold by removing its two bolts and two nuts followed by removing the throttle body gasket.
