How to replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2005 Toyota Camry?

The first task when replacing the Engine Control Module (ECM) from July 2003 involves breaking the connection at the battery negative terminal. Remove the front door scuff plate on the right-hand side then detach the cowl side trim sub assembly and instrument panel under cover sub assembly No.1 along with instrument panel sub assembly lower. The ECM can be removed through a process of discharging wire harness clamps before disconnecting five ECM connectors and unfastening two ECM retention nuts. The following step involves ECM bracket removal through screwing out the 2 screws followed by removing ECM bracket No.2 with the same procedure. The installation of ECM bracket No.2 requires two screws for mounting it before installing ECM bracket using the same two screws.
