How to replace the thermostat on 2005 Toyota Avalon?

To remove the thermostat (2GR-FE) drain the engine coolant then remove the V-bank cover, engine control rod, and mounting brackets. Remove the fan belt, idler pulley, and radiator hose outlet. Take out the water inlet and thermostat but make sure that the new gasket is installed properly. Install parts again and look at leaks.
