How to service and repair the radiator on 2005 Toyota 4Runner?

Start radiator repair and servicing operations by draining all engine coolant from the system. The service begins with removing both the 11 clips and radiator support upper. Start radiator service by disconnecting the fan shroud using an appropriate engine room location for storage after removing the oil cooler inlet hose, oil cooler outlet hose, reserve tank hose, radiator hose No. 1, radiator hose No. 2 and detaching the fan shroud with its 3 bolts. You should now remove the radiator assembly by uninstalling its 4 bolts. Start by detaching both radiator support No. 1 and No. 2 then finish with removal of the 4 radiator support No. 1 bush. Installation of the radiator begins with putting the radiator support tabs through the radiator service hole before tightening the 4 bolts to 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.). Place the fan shroud through its slot openings with the 3 bolts while tightening to 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). Complete the cooling system operation by adding engine coolant followed by a search for any fluid leaks.
