The initial step requires removing the front seat LH and then the rear seat LH followed by eliminating the scuff plate LH and seat belt floor anchor side LH and side trim board. When ready to remove the cable one can partially pull the floor mat aside while releasing the clamp to pull out the cable. Start by removing and reinstalling the lock retainer according to the given instructions for the Fuel Filler Opening Lid Lock Retainer. The installation of the Fuel Lid Lock Control Cable Sub-Assembly involves positioning the cable counterclockwise before clamping it to its place followed by reattachment of the floor mat, side trim board, seat belt floor anchor side LH, scuff plate LH, rear seat LH, and front seat LH in succession.
