The first step to replace the CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY RR involves removing the SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSY and subsequently removing the CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSY and then the CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSY REAR W/CONSOLE DOOR. The CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY RR requires removal by first rotating the socket in the directional circumference movement which frees the claw mechanism from its position with the cigarette lighter cover. After that disengagement step, the user can push the socket toward the interior of the room. Apply the socket to the notch found on the cigarette lighter cover RR before using firm pressure to install the cigarette lighter assy RR.
