The process starts by disconnecting the speed sensor connector and removing the nut that allows the speed sensor to exit the axle hub. Test for any foreign matter on the sensor tip and inside the installation hole. Secure the new rear speed sensor with its nut to the steering knuckle by fixing 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 73 inch lbs.) torque and completely remove any impurities from the sensor tip before plugging in the speed sensor connector. You must torque the rear wheel to 110 Nm after completion before verifying the VSC sensor signal.
