Installation of the new proportioning valve assembly must begin with tightening the bolts to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.) torque. Next, reconnect the 5 brake tubes while using Special Service Tool: 09023-00100 to reach a torque of 15.2 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.). The master cylinder will require fluid inserted into its reservoir followed by bleeding it with Special Service Tool: 09023-00100 and finally bleeding the brake line before checking the fluid level.
