To install a new throttle cable, form a 200 mm (7.87 inch) radius then stretch the inner cable until light resistance occurs before fastening the stopper 0.8 - 1.5 mm (0.031 - 0.059 inch) from the outer cable end. The throttle cable needs a new O-ring installation before cable pulling followed by bolt retention at 10 Nm torque. Reattachment of the valve body requires connection of the throttle cable to the engine followed by drain plug installation at 20 Nm (205 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.). Finally, refill the ATF and check the fluid level while adjusting the throttle cable to meet specifications.
