Before proceeding with the 1ZZ-FE sensor, disconnect its connector followed by removing the bolt and sensor itself while torquing the bolt to 8.8 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 78 in.lbf). You should disconnect the connector before removing the 2 bolts and the camshaft position sensor from the 2ZZ-GE engine while applying the prescribed torque of 8.8 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 78 in.lbf). The installation procedure follows the opposite sequence as removal steps.
