  A: Service of the Fuel Pressure Regulator starts by disconnecting the vacuum hose from the intake air resonator and the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator while placing a shop towel underneath the regulator to prevent fuel leakage. To begin service the pressure regulator requires removing its 2 securing bolts followed by pulling it out and taking off the O-ring. The service process begins with applying gasoline to a new O-ring following which you can install it onto the pressure regulator. Install the delivery pipe pressure regulator while rotating it left and right after tightening the two bolts to yield 7.5 N.m (80 kg.cm, 66 in.lb) torque. Attach the vacuum hose to the intake air resonator after you reconnect the fuel return hose to the pressure regulator before checking for any fuel leaks.
