Service and repair of the throttle body starts with draining engine coolant followed by removing the air cleaner assembly. You should first disconnect the throttle position sensor connector as well as the throttle control motor connector and the two PCV hoses from the throttle body. The service and repair of the throttle body requires the removal of both water bypass hoses as well. Remove the bolt then take out the two nuts and accelerator bracket and throttle body from the intake manifold following torque specification at 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf). Finish the replacement by removing the throttle body gasket and installing a new throttle body by following the opposite order of removal.
