How to service and repair the A/C Condenser on 2000 Toyota Tundra?

The HVAC condenser service and repair requires refrigerant discharge then evacuation before system charging with 600 plus or minus 50 g (21.16 plus or minus 1.76 oz.) of refrigerant and leak inspection. The service of the 2UZ-FE engine includes removing the A/T oil cooler with two 10 Nm torque bolts that require 100 kg.cm or 7 ft.lb torque (split the torque value between the bolts if possible). Also remove the horn, hood lock, center brace, receiver and holder and disconnect the liquid tube and discharge hose by removing two 10 Nm bolts. Sealing all open systems immediately shields the air conditioning system from moisture and dirt contamination. Two new O-rings get lubrication using compressor oil before installing them on the tubes. The condenser removal process starts with removing 2 bolts and 2 lower brackets followed by 4 bolts and 2 upper brackets until the condenser can be pulled forward and upward. Before inserting a new condenser into a replacement compressor combine 1.4 to 1.7 fluid ounces of ND-OIL 8 or equivalent compressor oil. Reverse order arrangements apply to the installation procedure.
