How to service and repair the Throttle Cable/linkage on 2000 Toyota Solara?

In order to fix throttle cable, take off the battery, throttle cable and cruise control actuator of the engine. Install a new throttle cable, making sure that the torque and adjustments are made. Install the valve body, park/neutral switch and cruise control actuator. Lastly, install the battery again and test drive the car.
