  A: To start windshield removal you need to take out both door opening trims and front pillar trim. Use your screwdriver to extract assist grip plugs from each side. Keep your screwdriver tip taped to avoid window damage. Detach both sun visors from the cabin along with their accompanying parts. To access the overhead console box first unscrew its 2 bolts and detach power connector for vehicles with sliding roof; without sliding roof unscrew the bolt then remove map light and both lenses before lifting out the panel. Next remove the inner rear view mirror along with wiper arms after unscrewing caps and nuts. To conclude take off the hood to cowl top seal and cowl top ventilator louvers from both left and right sides. Use a drill to cut the rivet flanges while the moulding is warmed to 68 to 86 degrees F and break the adhesive tape using piano wire. Avoid damaging the upper outside moulding when you remove it with a knife. Poke piano wire between the body and glass then secure its ends with wood blocks before cutting the adhesive line without harming the surface. Clean both the body surface and extracted glass then put in new stoppers and dams before fitting the glass perfectly and cleaning its contact areas. Next, spread Primer "M" on the body surface and Primer "G" on the glass edge. Insert adhesive part 08850-00801 to the glass and place it properly before securing it with tape until the glue dries. If the adhesive solidifies without leak detection use Part No. 08833-00030 to seal the affected area. Place adhesive at the moulding installation area then put on the top outside moulding using an air riveter and nose piece No. 4. Reposition and tighten all cowl top ventilator louvers while adding the hood to cowl top seal and wiper arms then installing them with 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf) torque. Install the inner rear view mirror and its other components including the overhead console box, holders, double visors, sun visors as well as the front trims back into their original positions.
