The Heater Control Valve service demands coolant drainage from the radiator while maintaining an amount of coolant within the system. The water valve control cable must be disconnected from the water valve but adjustment of the cable length should be done during installation for manual A/C systems. Free the water hoses by employing pliers to handle the hose clip claws so they can be moved down the hose until the water hose becomes loose. To install the water hoses connect one end firmly at the second tubular ridge on the heater radiator pipe and then at the water valve pipe before looping the hose clip at its designated spot. Thread disassembly is finished by taking off the bolt and the water valve. To install the components proceed with the uninstallation step in reverse order and then for vehicles equipped with auto A/C systems adjust the water valve control cable by turning on the ignition before setting the temperature control door to cool to connect the cable and lock the clamp while applying gentle pressure in the specified cable direction.

Service operations on the Heater Control Valve begin with draining radiator coolant while acknowledging full coolant drain is unnecessary. The water valve control cable should then be detached from the water valve after which all hoses should be removed by opening the hose clip claws with pliers before sliding the clip along the hose tube to disconnect it. The installation of water hoses requires pushing them onto heater radiator and water valve pipes until reaching the second ridge while positioning the hose clip correctly. Installation of the new water valve requires following the reverse procedure of bolt removal and water valve extraction. Start by enabling the ignition switch to ON positions then adjust the control cable by attaching the clamp followed by a dim of the cable outside with gentle force directed the specified way.
